review 1: Very nice well-written book. The book has several stories that illustrates the importance of leaders closeness to their teams\ employees. The book used several psychological studies to prove its point of view. However, the book focuses on one dimension of leadership which is sacrifice or being socially idealistic to others. Although this is a very important aspect, it is not sufficient for being a leader. the book did not claim it covers all leadership characteristics. I highly recommend it!
review 2: Quotes I liked:" My favorite definition of love is giving someone the power to destroy us and trusting they won't use it.""Like adding water to a glass of milk, eventually the culture becomes so watered down it loses all that makes it good and healthy, and by then
... moreit only looks like or vaguely tastes like milk. We lose our sense of history, of responsibility to the past and shared tradition. We care less about belonging. In this kind of weak culture, we veer away from doing "the right thing" in favor of doing "the thing that's for me." less

A little redundant, but a good reminder that morals still matter in business.

The overall theme is good. I got the point in the first few pages.

Although Chapter 24 wasn't much about leadership, I loved it!
