review 1: I like Lacey Flint as a character--in this one she hears a call about someone setting a man on fire. She runs from her apartment in time to see the perpetrator fleeing, but she doesn't get a good enough look at him to be helpful. There are a number of twists in the plot that to elucidate them would ruin the plot, but suffice it to say in the end it is a very sad story, and not just because it is a murder mystery and therefore someone has to die/
