review 1: I am not a huge fan of short stories, although I keep reading them, but I really enjoyed this one.The writing style was fresh and funny, plus it was nice to get a story from the male pov. His inner-thoughts were realistic and humorous. The best part of this for me was how the male was older and also the submissive of the relationship. I haven't read that before, so it was a nice change. This story was perfect for me to read in between longer novels, while I decided what to read next. Truly enjoyed it, and will try more from this author.
review 2: A fan of Femdom and Ms. Warren, I eagerly downloaded this book and wanted to read it. I confess this wasn't what I expected and it was just an okay read for me.The femdom part was perfectly fine. What didn't do it for
... more me are the characters. Or should I say, the main character. I'm not big on first person POV. When the person is a jerk and down on himself as a looser, it's even harder for me to enjoy. Wyle is a divorced male who has low self-esteem. He comes with annoying baggage that I could do without. His crazy paranoia is off putting. Honestly, I don't know males who have thoughts like this running in their head. Wyle is a turn off because some of the things he thinks about for the first date and how to get sex are just insulting. If I wasn't told this was a male, I would have guessed a female. Not to say that all females are like this, but I find more females than males go through these things in their head. So this made the story a little less believable for me.This is for those who are interesting in a woman taking control in a sweet way - light femdom. less
