review 1: Excellent. Been quite tired of the teen paranormal romance stuff, but this was very well done. The character had a dark side, yet never became unlikeable. Being a werewolf is shown as painful, not romantic. And the protagonistic isn't always thinking about "kissable lips" and "chocolate eyes", but true and pertinent issues like killing. Also in these stories people often become totally inured to violence in no time, but the heroine here never quite gets the stomach for it. I like the characterization, and the story flow.
review 2: This was a great story with well defined characters and lots of action. It was very bloody, being a werewolf tale. I don't like all that gore, but as these kinds of stories go, it was at a minimum. If you like werewolf stories, ... morecoming of age stories, young adult romance, this is great. I noticed a few proofing errors, but all in all, it was a well done book. Fast paced, quick read and layers of emotional content. I liked it. I'd even read more of it, even though this is not my usual genre. less
