review 1: Main Characters:Janis Stone - Human woman married to DelosDelos - Terilian doctor mated to JanisSynopsis:Janis and Delos are having their first holiday together. The holiday begins with a sexual fast that lasts two days, followed by gift giving and lots of sex.My Thoughts:A big part of this story is pretty much a reflection of O'Henry's The Gift of the Magi. Janis and Delos are still enjoyable characters but there isn't much plot in this short story.
review 2: So this book wasn't too bad, if, and only if you like your sex with an alien with a human body and cat ears. What? Yes, you read it right CAT EARS! Just so we get this clear the first time, the "Bride's" on this little venture were kidnapped from Earth and held hostage(I am assuming this happened in ... morea previous book, as this one did not have that perticular part in it) and forced to marry human-looking men with cat ears. Interesting, basically she sells her most precious thing to buy a gift for her kidnapper, WTF???, and he sells his most precious thing to buy her a gift, of course both gifts can only be used with the things they sold. Overall, not completely horrible, sex scenes were interesting. less
