review 1: This is a very very short story which I was able to read in about 20 mins so not really too much to say. It's typically shopaholic style with Becky being unreasonable, Luke somehow bending to suit her whims, and the usual copious shopping for nonsense. Kinsella has managed to get the usual wit and style into this short story so fans of the previous books will love this and be ready for the next offering which is not far away.
review 2: Dit is een kort verhaal over de hoofdpersoon Becky uit de Shopaholic-serie. Het verhaal is leuk om te lezen en je komt meteen weer in de sfeer van de boeken. Ik zou het verhaal zelf persoonlijk pas lezen als je ook de boeken hebt gelezen, omdat je dan wat achtergrondinformatie hebt en je weet hoe de hoofdpersoon is. Aan de andere... more kant kan ik me voorstellen dat als je Sophie Kinsella's boeken niet kent, dit een leuke introductie is voor de serie. Maar ik denk dat de meeste chicklitliefhebbers de Shopaholic-serie wel kennen, want de boeken zijn erg populair. En terecht. Ze lezen vlot en zijn erg grappig.
