review 1: I felt torn with this book. I understood where everyone was coming from, all the bad feelings and hurt, but the hope that maybe, maybe things could be all right. I loved that Julian and Jack decided that it was time to but in. I got what they were saying about Lexi and Lucas. They were great together, but as much as Lucas topped Lexi, Lexi wore the pants in their relationship. I was willing to pass judgement until hearing why Aidan left and what Lexi was hiding. I had guessed Lexi's secret and Aidan's reason for leaving made sense with how he was raised and the fact that he couldn't/wouldn't face up to who he loved.The side part with people after Aidan, Lexi, and Lucas was a bit boring and very predictable. I was more interested in Aidan interacting with his brother ... moreBo, and Aidan, Lexi, Lucas dealing with Abby, Jack, and Sam.
review 2: 3.5 stars for this book. A fun, pretty sexy read. If you want a pick me up then this series is just the ticket.Even though I really wanted to I couldn't rate it higher than 3.5 stars because - I struggled with Aiden being a believable Dom,Lucas, whilst gorgeous, was just too giving, and Lexi could be just plain annoying, so not as good as the first 3 for mine.There are always quite a few laugh out loud moments in Sophie Oak's books. There is usually a baddy and a bit of angst. I can never get enough of the Barnes-Fleetwood crew, especially Jack, adore that man. Love the attitude of the family and their alternative lifestyle and outlook. Like that Sophie Oak's women are not pushed to be big lipped, anorexic cut-outs.Onwards and upwards to book 5 now. less
