review 1: Chet, the German Shepherd, tells this story, the short story that led to the series that begins with Dog On It, which I enjoyed. Chet’s (and Quinn’s) voice is consistently fine canine perspective, particularly what are matters of importance (crullers!) and what are not (the humans said…). ... moreto the Little Detective Agency. The two soft-as-mush tough guys begin to get acquainted, and start to learn how to work together. If you're a fan of Chet and Bernie, this is a sweet, charming addition to their story.Recommended.I bought this story. less

A short read, but vintage Chet and Bernie. A great way to get to know the history of the duo.
