Drone Vampire Chronicles
review 1: While I feel that Micah and Ozzie's relationship and the mating as a little bit rushed (unlike Dante/Brenden and Zeke/Ethan) but I definitely welcome this new coupling. I always enjoy couple with opposite attracts -- and Micah and Ozzie are definitely different. Micah is more of a geek and has a sense of innocence in him. While Ozzie is a big bad wolf/vampire who is more on the edge. Of course, I prefer to have their story flashes out more detailed in the next book -- like what Ozzie has done for the course of a year after he left the Drone clan.Oh, one of the highlights of this one is of course, the ever delightful Dante. I love that guy. I swear, the Godfather reference when he is cursing the body-of-a-man-head-of-a-horse creatures is priceless!! He is my second favorite... more character after the emo Ethan. In fact, I miss Ethan here because when Dante and Ethan are at it, they have the best banters ever in the series :)
review 2: Love these vampires, werewolves and warlocks--always a great time! This latest addition is my new fave--although Dante will always hold a special place in my reader heart--Ozzie and Micah were such a great match, the were/vamp-rebel and the bad-ass vamp geek--fun. Really enjoyed how all the characters come together for that climatic battle at the end...love Dante's mouth. Even though I skipped book 1, 3 & 6 in the series(prefer to keep the 'F' factor out of my M/M reads), each book is a solid story unto itself, and yet all the other characters are clearly defined. Can't wait for them to take down the VRF! less
