review 1: I normally do not read anthologies/novellas. The stories are too short for me. I want a little more detail and a little longer courtship. The beginning, climax, and 'happily ever after' speed by too quickly. It smacks of fantasy. I like to believe that 'happily ever after' takes longer than 1/4 of a book. That being said...I really like listening to the novellas. It is almost like listening to a radio drama. Yes, I am dating myself. I grew up with the radio. There was no TV for me until I was in the 6th grade (1950's). The four authors that collaborated on this anthology are among my favorites. 'It Happened One Night' inspired this book. I haven't read it. So, I think I will listen to it!
review 2: The Seduction of Sebastian Trantor- Laurens, is a beau
... moretiful seduction done out of allowing one to be who they are and the enjoyment of a small mystery.Only Love- Balogh, Cleo(patria) is just a name for a hopeless romantic. Ture love will come back no matter the circumstance of the departure.Hope Springs- D'Alessandro, a man with a conscience is a novelty of sorts. "Hope springs eternal." You hear this plenty. For me this was the one story that I could have skipped.Fate Strikes a Bargin- Hern, has two people with a social deficiency work together to make a right. All the stories have the same plot (due to a contest) but the stories are distinct. less

Four fun stories. I think I like Laurens' best, since it has action and a crime (blackmail).

I started this one and it turned out to be a good bit too steamy for me!

Like most of this genre, I inhaled it. Nice, light reading.
