review 1: I rented this book from a close friend of mines. At first I didn't really 'want' to read it. I thought it was a continuity of Anna and St.Clair's romance but when I've heard that this was a Companion Book Series, I didn't bother buying the actual book. So when my friend said that she had the book and went on and on about how the book became of her favorites, I gave it a chance, I rented it from her.Along with that reason to why I gave it a chance was because I've read from another reviewer's review that Anna was featured in this book along with Etienne, so 80% of that was really because I wanted to see what happened to both of them. I'd give it —★★★—. Okay the story's plotline is different in its own way, but it didn't really give me that X factor, unlike Anna's ... morestory gave me. Honestly, I hated the protagonist. I pretty much don't like anything that has a relevance to cheating. Okay, she didn't really cheat, but she wasn't really really faithfull (Her thoughts towards Cricket) to her boyfriend. Now I get what 'cuteness' the other reviewers talks about. And how they loved the book, rated it a straightout ★★★★★, and yap about how cute the romance factor towards the heroine and hero. I'd get it if you were like 11 years old and below, but as I look through their profiles you seem alot older considering you've read erotica books, so your definitely not a 9 year old. Not that I have anything against Stephanie Perkins, her books (some) are amazing. But I just didn't like this particular one.
review 2: This was so cute no one touch me, while I get my emotions together.I was actually kinda scared that this book wouldn't live up to amazingness that was Anna and the French Kiss but not was I wrong.I loved reading this along with the lovely Zorana and definitely having someone to read this book with made it so much better!!At times Lola did irritate, but I understand that every character has their flaws and loved to see her grow at the end.Cricket Bell is absolutely freaking adorable. I love reading how shy and awkward he is and makes him more endearing. I was also glad to see how he didn't ditch his sister and just go to Lola, but actually cares for her well-being.I was a bit iffy with Max in the beginning until he was so rude to Lola's friends and I just didn't like him at all.Seeing Anna and Étienne (St. Clair!! St. Clair!!) really made me feel all "warm and fuzzy" inSide which I rarely get when reading books. I loved how we got an update on their relationship and how close they still are together. *Crawls in a hole and dies*I loved seeing Lola actually getting to talk to her mother and seeing their relationship try to repair itself even if it isn't totally there. The main thing I loved is how present Lola's dads were in the book because in many YA books we don't get that. This book was beautifully written and I laughed and cried with these characters as they began to be more themselves and I am definitely excited to read Isla and the Happily Ever After. Stephenie Perkins why must you do this to me? :D less

I'm not sure I actually liked Lola herself, but I did find her book compulsively readable.
