review 1: i am incredibly disappointed. the characters just didn't do it for me. lola was just that, a character. all those costumes that were "herself" felt like a farce, to be honest. there's a certain lack of character amidst the encompassing character. i hated adam, because i felt like he was the victim at the start but quickly grew to become the villain. how he could be so rude and uncouth, considering the age gap between lola and him is completely embarrassing. my favourite part of the book would simply have to be the bell twins, because there is just something so completely magical about the bond between twins. all in all, i feel like the story was trying too hard to encompass a lot of issues shown through the gay parents, homeless mother, asian best friend, etc etc. in the e... morend, the effect was a mess. i wish that the author had chosen one particular aspect and stuck to it instead.
review 2: Estaba muy ansiosa por leer este libro y fue ge-nial!Me encanto todo el tema de Lola y la moda ya que estoy considerando comenzar y ver si soy util en eso. Ame a Cricket,me parecio un personaje tan dulce tan divino,quiero un novio como el.La historia me parecio muy buena,con respecto a Max me encanto porque era como Lola,ella estaba viendo cosas que no eran y hasta que no se dio cuenta no pudo dejar ir los sentimientos. Yo al principio decia: Pero si Max tambien me gusta! y despues dije What?! Nop,no pude haber pensado eso.Rapida y facil lectura sin dejar de ser interesante y producir una mezcla de sentimientos,realmente genial. Totalmente recomendado!PD:Creo que Lola es un gran incentivo para ver si eso de la costura se me da! less
