review 1: I had two experiences with this book. When me and my husband were struggling and I had a lot of unforgiveness and bitterness I would not wanna agree with what it said as well as pray for him. When I got too desperate and could not change my husband or his actions directly I started to pray to God for those aspects using this book. And I started seeing miracles, if we had a fight in the morning, I'd pray in the day, and he would either text me apologizing or come home and be kind and humble. It gave hope and i asked him to pray for me using the other book "The Praying Husband" instead of dealing with me the way he naturally would. So when I started opening my heart again for God to work on me personally and when I gained forgiveness I would be excited to read this book and ... morenot only I would pray for my husband but i would even fill up the gaps with my name as the needs were so specific for my case as well. Now I am excited to embark on the other book journey "The Praying Woman".
review 2: I absolutely love this book!! I love the way it's laid out and broken in to chapters that deal with different aspects of a man's life. Every June, I read this book (on chapter a day) and it helps me to focus on my husband and not on myself and the challenges he faces as a husband. I love the optional books (Study Guide and Book of Prayers) that go along with it. I will continue to recommend this book to friends and family as it has been very valuable to our marriage. less
