review 1: I received this book almost 10 years ago, and just picked up after rediscovering Him in my life. This was a book that forced me to dig up some of my oldest and most unpleasant memories of my past and humbly request God to clear it all up for me.It allowed me to really let go, and let God.I never really liked prayer but this book changed my mind about it, and I see how important prayer is in our lives.More importantly, I see the heart God has for all of us, but we must choose to let go of our own baggage and allow Him to take control. :)
review 2: *Listening to the audio CD version.I loved chapter 7 so far about how to gain a closer relationship with God, and to spend more time with Him. I also liked when she shared on "jobs/occupations" and chapter 13 on holines
... mores and purity.I needed these friendly reminders. "Change me Lord prayers" is what I am seeking and working heavily on based on the calling that God foresees for my life.3.5 stars. less

Very well written, moving, and motivating. I plan to read more from this writer in the coming year.

I was underwhelmed. As with her other "power of a praying" books I found it superficial and rote.

While I don't agree with everything written…this is an enlightening read.
