review 1: A somewhat different theme for a Stone Barrington story. This is more about a terrorist plot to assassinate the US president with a nuclear bomb at the opening of a hotel in California than the usual NYC crime story. Secondary character Holly Barker plays the major role in this book as a CIA agent trying to find the plotters. Still quite readable but a plot line that is becoming more and more routine.
review 2: There are some excellent reviews about this book already posted.On a positive note, it is an enjoyable read because many of the same familiar faces and places were revisited. There were less detailed sex scenes, which I applaud loudly! On a negative note, I was tempted not to complete the book because of the terrorism plots and executions that made me f... moreeel very uncomfortable. Also, it was disappointing that Ben and Peter were not included in Dino and Viv's wedding and reception. They didn't even get a mention in regard to their absence. less
