review 1: Hush hush gibi seriler yüzünden bu kitabı sürekli erteliyordum. Başlamadan önce kendimi berbat bir ergen kitabına hazırlamıştım. Kitap bitince ise ne kadar yanıldığımı anladım ve ilk defa yanıldığım için bu kadar mutluyum :) Karakterler bi kere müthiş. Yani genelde kadın karakterler embesil ve sümsük olur. Penryn bu saydıklarımın tam tersi. Raffe ise diğer serilerdeki meleklere kıyasla yoldan çıkmış falan değil, hala değerlerine bağlı. Ki bu onu daha bir gerçekçi kılıyor. Olay örgüsü ve kurgu oldukça iyiydi. Kitabın temposu hiç düşmedi ve sona doğru giderek daha da arttı. Karakterini korumaya alıp, ona kıyamayan yazarlara sinir olurum. Kitaptaki tüm albeniyi alıp götürür bu durum.. Ama Susan karakterlerin baş... moreına gelebilecek felaketler konusunda elini hiç de korkak alıştırmamış. Kitap bu yönden de benden tam puan aldı. Kitapta bir kusur bulmaya çalıştım ama yok, bulamadım :D
review 2: I truly enjoyed reading through this book. At first I was kind of annoyed about how the story goes against the usual pure and heroic image of angels but I came to love the concept as the story progressed. And at times it felt like your typical good-angel-gone-bad scenario but the writer whisks that away almost immediately and you are left to feel how genuine the book is. I am most pleased with the plot twists for actually being twists not a slight curve I had anticipated a hundred pages before, Susan Ee weaves the threads of a story beautifully, it's all smooth and consistent as you read to the end. The events are fast paced and gripping, no plot holes that leaves you wondering what you missed along the way.Now to the characters, how I am supposed to keep it short and talk about the characters I have no idea... Anyway,-Penryn has got to be my favorite heroine of all time (details omitted)-I loved Raffe's crude and serious personality and how playful he gets when he's with Penryn.Not mentioning other characters that were good, over-all they were all well written and easy to like and love.Susan Ee is definitely a good author, I'm excited to read more of her works and maybe promote her to "Favorite Author" status lol less
