review 1: This book contains the information from many different researches that shows:How People SeeHow People ReadHow People RememberHow People ThinkHow People Focus Their AttentionWhat Motivates PeoplePeople are Social AnimalsHow People FeelPeople Make MistakesHow People DecideIt's not just a book about GUI Design as I thought before reading the book. It's used for any designer for any product that involves an audience.Because it has many statistics and scientific facts from the research, it's not an easy book to read though. So the recommendation is to read it at least twice.

... morepheral vision, daydreaming, creativity, response interpretation, motivation, visual fatigue and laughter. Each lesson is more like a tip, illustrated with a case or story and bulletted at the end with salient points. I found it interesting and easy to read, even though I have little to do with design. The author appears to have taken her own advice well and the information was presented in a coherent, easily navigable and pleasing manner. less
