review 1: I liked this book. I liked how there was more than one thing happening at once. It wasn't confusing. Finn went to fools gold to get his younger brothers because they had quit college and ran away. Finn ends up getting involved with Dakota who is from fools gold. Finn didn't want anything serious but Dakota ended up pregnant and Finn took of even though he wanted to be with her. I liked how Dakota gave him some time to think then chased after him because she loved him. In the end they ended up in fools gold together.
review 2: Due to a labeling boo-boo at the library, I started the series with this one; however, here's the beauty of these books: you get sucked into the "network" of the town (and can tell there are other stories there), but the story is written
... morein such a way that it doesn't feel like you've missed out or that there are "holes" there. It's a fun, sweet little town with lots of interesting characters and lots of stories to tell, and I'll definitely pick up more. less

I got distracted by the reality show sub-plot. Too much of the twins. Not enough of the main plot.
