This fast paced novel finally solves the mystery of the axeman and wraps up the trilogy brilliantly. “Elysian Fields” has mer-men, necromancers, sex undead pirates and a few elfs thrown in. It ticks every box for a block buster urban fantasy series. This series is perfect for Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake and Patricia Briggs fans.
