review 1: I am really enjoying this series and loved the ending. Been waiting for that to happen! A little bit of predictability and some not (which is nice). One thing I didn't like was the time (story timeline) between this book and it's predecessor. Why is it set several years after the first book? I feel like I missed a lot in that time, and in some cases, that not enough happened in that time. Regardless, I'll be looking for the next book very soon.
review 2: This book was even more amazing then the first! I just love DJ, she is such a kick ass heroine. The plot to this novel was so incredibly well written and such a twisty ride. I kept kicking myself trying to figure out who was causing all the chaos and then finally it hit me (I won't give away any spoilers)! ... moreRight after I realized who was creating the rifts DJ figured it out as well, which is perfect writing if I do say so myself. The love triangle is a little frustrating but also a lot intriguing. Jake to me is too unstable and Jean is too narcissistic, so I personally am rooting for Alex. What can be sexier than a man who turns into a fluffy lovable dog? ;) I am on pins and needles awaiting the next novel in this series. I absolutely can't wait to see what happens next! less
