review 1: I want other people to read this so I can talk to them about the ending!! It's a great book and leaves you trying to figure out how the final events actually went down. This is fortunately getting made into a movie starring Kiera Knightley so at least people will be reading it soon. The author has left the ending up to everyone's own interpretation so who knows how the movie will end. It better be good!
review 2: I almost DNF this book so many times. It was so tedious being told over and over that something big leading to Rose's downfall would happen. Nothing actually happens until the last twenty pages! There were some good, unpredictable twists at the end. I even kind of liked the open-ended ending: do you believe Roses' reality or the doctors? But at the sam... moree time, the lack of finality and clarity annoyed me. less
