review 1: eh....not too bad but not Browne's best. Maybe it's because I am too young (almost 30) but I didn't really know who some of these people are. Also, although I know it's because someone may pick up the book that hasn't read any of her others she spends a lot of time repeating things that are in her other book. This made skim through a lot. Also, and I know publishers set the prices but the Nook version is not cheap something like $9.00 so if you're not really interested in Browne's work then you might be turned away by the price. Has some interesting things and learned something about people I didnt even know when they were alive.
review 2: With my Catholic religion and general Christian upbringing, I have a hard time swallowing what Sylvia Browne says is p
... moreresent on "The Other Side" or "Home". A scanning machine? An aloof God who has no personal contact with those at "home"? I walked past this book on the READ ME pyramid at the library and couldn't resist. Who doesn't want to know what life after death is like firsthand? While the reading is fast and easy, with a short bio on each famous face, it's a fluffer. Turns out that most of our dead celebs don't want to reincarnate. less

I think the only useful thing from this thing has only a good glossary which is useful for writers.

I read this book purely for its comedic value and it did not fail me.

Boring. And they all died happily ever after.
