review 1: I don't give too many 5 stars, so maybe I am in a generous mood or maybe this is a great little novella. I liked the characters and although it is a historical romance, it didn't read like one, if that makes sense. It was a perfect Sunday read, I got it as a free download lend from my library so it was a nice surprise that it had become available and I started reading it and just was glad it was a day without many responsibilities and I had it finished by dinner.
review 2: Could NOT put it down!! LOVE Sylvia's writing style!! What a fantastic time piece! A great book to escape into for a while! Highly recommend.Noteworthy quotes and moments from the book:"And last but not least, I love you, my wife." He rested his forehead against hers. "With every fiber
... moreof my being, I adore you. I intend to cherish you and worship you forever." He brushed kisses against her mouth. Slow, sweet kisses that skillfully stoked her ardor. "I thank you for becoming my wife." less
