review 1: Overall, a very usable, likable book. Stiles is authentic. I would love to take a class from her. The book has some flaws. Pose descriptions vary from the photo of poses. Not drastically, but if you are new to a pose, it will make a difference on how comfortable that pose is to you. I would also agree with a previous comment that "cure" in the title is one of those slippery words...yoga is fantastic as a form of preventative medicine. Reduced anxiety, better stress coping skills, greater recovery from falls, improved balance and flexibility are benefits I see from a yoga practice.

... moreo for each yoga position, repeated each time it's mentioned as a cure, so that it's easy to look up your problem and know what to do.The only downside to this book is that it's difficult to do yoga while looking at a book. Thankfully, descriptions for the moves are short enough that you can glance through and remember what it is you're supposed to do. There are also helpful pictures to go with each position. less
