review 1: This book is one of the best books I read in a while. I've given it 4 stars as only the very occasional book gets 5 :) I wasn't sure of the writing style at the start of the book but as I continued to read it became clear why it was needed and in the end resulted in a good ending. This is a book for those who like romance and detective mysteries! For once I couldn't solve the crime before the characters!
review 2: I hadn't read a Tasmina Perry book before so wasn't sure what to expect. This a fast paced story about Sophie who is struggling to come to terms with the fact that her beloved father lost all his money in a bad investment and subsequently died of a heart attack. As she is trying to find a way to adapt to her new status in life she meets a woman who in... morevites her to house sit in her luxurious home. Thinking this is a great opportunity she takes up the offer and soon finds herself swept up in a passionate relationship with an American business man Nick. However when Nick is found dead she finds herself the prime suspect in his murder and so begins a race across the world to find the truth to clear her name. It is soon clear that nothing is as it seems and there are some very dangerous people out to get her. The story is full of twists and turns and it is very hard to predict the ending. This is a gripping read and I am looking forward to reading some more books by the same author. less
