review 1: I found the start of this ... very off putting.. I think it may have been easier to stay in the right 'frame of mind' had the story stuck with the 'main' characters at first.. and got us in the 'right place' before introducing new characters and plot points.I found the interactions with the Circle trilogy to be very influential in this one, as the particular change that occurs in the original books was one of my favorite parts of the series.. He did it well in this one as well. I am curios to the change occurring with some characters ... and am looking forward to the final one.
review 2: 2.5ish...My least favorite so far, but mostly because it felt unfinished...I hate a "to-be-continued" book. I am not a fan of the Leedhan aspect either and do not understand w
... morehy Johnis is vulnerable to the entity of Shaeda. He has been steadfast since the debacle with his mother, but he seems easily drawn in by the Leedhan rather than being led by the silent voice of Elyon as he has been in the other books.I really hope there is some kind of explanation for his weakness in the final book, Elyon, that I am reading now...I mean I know that there is some essential repositioning going on in this book in an attempt to end the series and complete the tie-in with the other two series.I really need to finish this story so I can read Green and understand where I am in the action! less
