review 1: I can say I'm huge , huge fan of author Teresa Gabelman's books. This is the third in the " Protectors" series. Their is Damon is the first and Jared is the second book in this series. They all are my favorites in their own way. If you love hot Alpha Vampire Men you will love this series . As I sat down to starting reading another amazing book in this series I was hooked by the fist chapter. Duncan picks up where Jared left off at . This book was full of Hot As Hell VC Warrior's and top it off their is Duncan and he so hot all it would take would be one look at him and your panty's would be soaked. This book was full of so many different kind of emotional roller coaster of emotion that it had me at the edge of my seat . This book had me laughing a lot , cry some, me gettin... moreg angry as hell and me yelling at the character in this book. This book is full of so much action you think your watching a movie . As I read this book I felt like I was right their with the characters fighting all the bad in the world. I fell more in love with most the characters in this book. I even have a special place for the half breeds and I think they are becoming my favorites in the book. Duncan Roark is the leader of the VC Warriors and he has devoted his long life to his brothers . He devoted in protecting the innocents of the vampire and human race. But the one thing he did not plan was to get the ordered for him and the Warriors will have to train human Social Workers so that they can protect themselves in the world of vampires. The one thing he did not plan was to falling in love with a human special one he will have to work with and see every day. No matter how hard he try' s to fight what he feels. Now instead of being so ruthless of a leader and a boss he was trained to be. Now his focus has change because now he will stop at nothing to finding the women he loved and let go. Can he find her and if he does will it be to late for them to have their happy ever after. Pam Braxton is a very out spoken person and loves her job and love working with children .But when she realize her in boyfriend has been using her for is illegal activities. the next thing she knows is that her world is upside down. That when she decide to take thing into her own hand . She decide to stay with her boyfriend so that she can see what he up to so that she can make sure he get the punished for what he doing. The only problem is that her relationship that has turn into a abusive . After her find out his plot on what he going to do he tell her if that he will kill every one she loves. So now she has no choice but to run an try to keep all the one she loves safe. But what she does not plan is the one man she cant keep out of her mind to try and come find her. With Duncan looking for her and her running to keep the one she loves safe and she trying to keep her secret just that . What will she do when he find her and every thing is out in the opening. Will Duncan be able to keep her safe . Will she be able to save the one she loves safe . Can Pam and Duncan have their happy ever after. I did not want to give to much of this sizzling , amazing awesome juicy as hell book. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future .
review 2: Duncan is the 3rd book in Teresa Gabelman's The Protectors Series. Duncan has been portrayed as the most serious and most responsible among the VC Warriors in the previous books. That's because he's the leader of the VC Cincinnati Branch. He's also the strongest and the other warriors look up to him with respect. Pam was originally portrayed as Nicole's bubbly, cheerful, and funny sidekick/best friend. But on the 2nd book her personality changed dramatically because of some traumatic horrors involving her psycho boyfriend.In this 3rd installment, Duncan must find Pam to protect her and the unborn baby from her ex boyfriend. Can Pam ever forget everything that happened and move on to give herself and Duncan a shot on love and happiness? This book is a MUST READ for all paranormal romance and vampire romance readers.One thing that I really love about The Protectors Series is it KEEPS GETTING BETTER. Duncan is darker than the previous books. Plotwise, Duncan is deeper and darker than the previous books. And that's what made this book better. It proved that the series isn't just about action and humor. Romance-wise, the couple, Duncan and Pam, have a more emotional foundation to their story. They have a very deep connection to each other and their love was more credible than the previous books' couples.When I was reading this book I was really affected by Pam's nightmares and I was very furious at Kenny that I want to kill him myself. And because the hero is Duncan the book is more solemn than Damon's and Jared's. Good thing the cheerful gang is present to lighten the mood. Sid and Nicole are funnier than ever. They really cracked me up with their mock blackmails.When I read Damon's book I thought it was excellent. When I read Jared's book, I thought it was one of the best and definitely better than Damon's. This time, Teresa Gabelman outdid herself and made this book much better than Jared's. I'm giving this 5 SOLID FAIRY WINGS! Definitely a must-read and worth your every cent and time.Oops, before I forget, another warrior was introduced in this book. He's strong, he's hot, sexy, and he's a doctor! Slade is a really likeable addition to the warriors and I'm looking forward to reading his own book. P.S. I really enjoyed the interview with Damon and Jared. Hope I can do another interview with the warriors and maybe with their mates. *wink* less
