The Protectors
review 1: From the first scene on you can't help but feel what Sebastian, Cole, Declan, and Levi are going through burying their friend. All back from the war, they now do not know what to do with themselves. I did not like Harper...LIKE AT ALL. She sits here through the whole book claiming she's not a child any more but yet everything she does is so childish it made it hard to read. thankfully the book was done in both POV's because I more than likely would have had to stop at one point or maybe not even finished it all all. It's a good book other than that and I really liked reading it.
review 2: Book Review-Duty BoundI received this book from its coauthors and Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. First book in the Protectors Series. Levi is a recently returned ho
... moreme Marine who can't quite deal with the loss of his fellow Marine/Best Friend Gavin and transitioning into civilian life. Of course it doesn't help Levi has become enamored and involved with Harper Gavin's little sister. Harper is a spitfire reporter whose curiosity into how her brother died just might be her undoing. Luckily she has Levi to look out for her whether she likes it or not. I thoroughly enjoyed the story plot. It was ready to follow along and feel for the characters. I just recommend some major proofreading atleast in the copy I was given as many words were jumbled together or separated. Also at times the character conversations were in a single paragraph and you didn't know if the same person was speaking or being answered. This series is definitely 18+ based on content and I give this book 4 Fangs.. less
