review 1: This book opened my heart, and was very sweet. It had a lot of sisterly love, and, of corse, sisterly squabbles. The 3 sisters are Calla, Violet, and Daisy. I love their names! How cute! Brynn, one of Violet's on and off friends, was also a main character. I loved and hated her so much! She was a jerk but could also be very sweet... She was very quirky to! Who knew you could put a nail through your nose?.. Calla was sweet, and always followed the rules. Violet was outgoing, and wasn't afraid to speak up. Daisy was shy, but by the end of the book she became very independent and no longer needed to rely on her sisters. I would definitely reccomend it! This book showed how one summer can change everything.
review 2: This book was very good in describing sisterhood... more and what every girl wants in a summer. I thought the love between Violet and James was amazing. The ending was what I was not so happy about. You never knew what happened with Calla and Duncan; did they ever become friends again? And what happened with Violet and James? Did he ever write her? Overall, the book was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. :) less
