review 1: An excellent sequel, I was curious about Tiago and learning more about Thunderbirds so this was a nice follow up. I love it when sequels pick up immediately after the events of the first book, so you see the repercussions of the first story. Here we see the results of Urien's death in the first book and what it means for Tricks as she begins to take the Dark Fae Throne. The budding romance between Tricks and Tiago was sweet and there was a nice mystery around who was trying to prevent Tricks from taking the throne (Even if it was telegraphed a little early). I loved that we get more worldbuilding, as we were introduced to the Nightkind Vampyres (Still roll my eyes about that y) and learned about about the Dark Fae and their metallurgy.A quick read.

After I read Dragon Bound (Elder Series #1) I fell in love with the characters and writing style so of course I couldn't wait to read Storm's Heart - it did not disappoint.Thea Harrison has quickly become one of my favorite authors, that short list includes Sherrilyn Kenyon, Gena Showalter, and Nalini Singh (just to name a few).Looking forward to reading Serpent's Kiss! less
