review 1: Not a book you cant put down but an enjoyable escape into a time worth exploring. Lacks a strong voice and personality and memorable artistry of writing but because the subject is so interesting, it's worth the read. Not worth a second read. Also makes you want to read F Scott Fitzgerald's books and gives you a hunger for research on both the Fitzgeralds and the luxurious life that surrounded them.
