review 1: I'm being genuinely considerate by putting two stars.I know when I have a good book; when all I can think about is the next time I can pick it up and read it. This one made me want to get through it ASAP so I'd be done.I'm not going to bother to read Leviathan, I have other books that can occupy my time and make me want to savoir every last word. This book had so much potential, but Sniegoski just missed it.It's completely unclear what audience he was trying to capture with this book, I was completely thrown off with its gore and random fights and dash of romance. If you want a half-assed Angel novel, this is for you. If you want an actual piece of Angel literature, I recommend the following: Hush, Hush saga...Halo trilogy...or the Mortal instruments series. There are m... moreany more Angel novels out there, but here are my personal favorites. Enjoy!
review 2: I couldn't finish this book. Every time I tried to start reading it again, I'd fall asleep, or EASILY get distracted by something else. Not to say this book was terrible, but I'm being generous giving it three stars. This book moved along too slowly for my liking, and even though it seemed somewhat original in its plot, I'd have to say that I've read a number of books just like this. If you're new to the angel fiction and fantasy world, then maybe you could tolerate his book, but for me, it just wasn't working. less
