review 1: Can I say that I am so excited about Thomas and Eddie!?!? I have suspected this as soon as Eddie was introduced and started being "right over Thomas' shoulder every time he turned around. It may not be "proper" for some people with reading this book because it is about two gay guys. But really... Who cares?!?! It's a big ass turn on and sexy as hell knowing two alpha males are so into each other...even if one denying his true feelings. Thomas is so tormented about his past and Eddie is so fighting Thomas' allure. People throw so much of a fit when it comes to a gay male couple. Do you really hear that much drama about a female gay couple?
review 2: Warning: M on M sex, bondage and severe flogging involved. First off, M on M sex is not my thing. So saying, I... more only read this since its part of the Scanguard series and has bits of info about the other characters and the main action thread. So I ‘scanned’ it and skipped over the M/M parts. Thus this review is only about the main thread not the ‘romance’. Don’t know what to say about the action storyline. It’s like a vampire mafia trying to take over the town using mind control. Kind of boring. Definitely just a frame for the M/M romance. I like the details on the Scanguard couples like the new baby and the engagement announcement. And I love the dogs, but they need a cat. They really are a big family. And Isabelle is fascinating. They’re going to have a handful with her. Fave scenes: Yvette and the baby and Haven’s party less
