review 1: A fast paced action book. Kind of a throwback to the Bourne and Bond books. The main plot involves a hired assassin who finds himself in the receiving end of a plot to get rid of him. The author's knowledge of intelligence agencies inner workings and weaponry systems is excellent. Some of the action is a little beyond believable but then that's what makes it fiction. There are several subplots that are as interesting as the main one. I plan to read his next book.
review 2: This is a fast paced thriller and keeps you hooked into the plot throughout – the main character Victor is a mystery figure that you want to know more about. There are some great set pieces and I found it a very exciting book. Tom Wood writes well and his descriptive writing is very... more well laid out. This is a book that you can’t wait to get back too, and after I finished it I knew I would miss the high tension that this book delivered. I look forward to reading his second book and getting back to another roller-coaster ride again. less
