review 1: I tried really hard to read this, I honestly did. I'll admit at times I found it very intriguing as the storyline was rather.. bizarre and unique. But I had to give up half way. The female characters were near enough unbearable; a bratty, spoiled, bitchy superstar, a moody, ignorant, "too cool for school" rockstar, and a whiney, helpless, constantly crying nobody. I'm surprised I didn't tear my hair out. Also- the male lead; mysterious, compelling, compassionate, understanding... Sounds interesting at first, right? Wrong. He seems to think he's some sort of saviour who can fix these broken little girls and become their knight in shining armour. Bullshit. No thanks.
review 2: This was a book I won from Simon and Schuster, the publishers. The book was slow to beg
... morein with but once it got going it was fabulous. It was intelligently written and was a great story of good and evil and misunderstood saints. There was much written about sainthood and martyrs. I am going to start the second book and see how the 3 saints, Agnes, Cecilia and Lucy, continue on their mission. The book was a modern digital age story of ancient Roman religious beliefs. less

It was alright. Got a little confusing in some parts, and the ending was eh.

Lo único que me reconforta es que Tonya dijo que la muerte no es el fin.
