review 1: I first came across this book from a friend almost 2 years ago. This book captivated me from the start. After I had read the first few pages, I knew I had to get it. I am sure glad I did as it did not disappoint. This book has a theme on Saints. I am familiar with them having been raised Roman Catholic. What I loved about this book is that you had to keep guessing who the villain was. The characters, Agnes, Lucy, Cecelia, the main girls all wound up in the same hospital on the same day was the start of an amazing roller coaster of a plot. What drove the plot was also Sebastian the boy with a mysterious edge to him who guides the three girls to their destinies. Sebastian, mostly kept me wanting to read on and learn more about him.I recommend this book to teenagers 15 and ab... moreove due to language and mild violence.
review 2: Just got back from a reading hiatus.. took me several months to get my reading juice back but hell i started with a wrong book. Found a used copy from booksale and since this is YA, why not?Sorry But only a 2 star for me. This is not really the kind of books in my liking. The Gothic elements is good and all but I can not see a connection between the characters and the saints. Overall not my cup of tea ;( less
