review 1: I really in two minds about this book, the premise behind the story really appealed to me but when it came to the execution somehow I was just overwhelmed by the sheer detail of the book. I don't know if I was just overtired and not in the mood to think but I just found the story too labored. This by no means that you shouldn't give it a go, it just might work for you and I am planning on trying the next one in the series.
