review 1: This was a fun book to read. Really quick and engaging, and got a few giggles out of me. The reason it's not full marks for it though, is that the characters are kind of annoying... Well, at least the main ones. Ben is quite adorable in a messy kind of way. I kind of want to punch Matthew... Katy was somewhat too down on herself, and even though I know this happens, it's happened to all of us, for me it's just too unthinkable to keep these gigantic traumas fot as long as she did, without doing something to change it. I liked how it made me think about the past, and the future, and how we sometimes fantasize about these things with some ideals and memories that really wouldn't be the same in the present, as you grow up and change. It was a fun read. Not quite a romantic com... moreedy, more like a pregnancy chaos.One more thing, from what I understood this was the author's first book, so for that in itself it was very good :)I'm going to read another one from the author, as a few free chapters on the Kindle version got me really curious :D
review 2: My second book by this author and a cute, light read. When Katy is burned by her high school sweetheart, she resolves to not become emotionally involved in relationships from that moment on. When she meets Ben, who isn’t serious about relationships or life, Katy feels she has found her perfect match. Then, at her high school reunion, she runs into the ex that broke her heart and in a moment of indiscretion, she sleeps with him. Things really get complicated when Katy finds herself pregnant and unsure who the father is or who she hopes it is. less
