review 1: I had never read Tracy Bloom before. ( or in my case, listened to one of her books). After listening to so many mysteries and books that were dark and full of anxious and suspenseful moments, this was pure fluff and FUN! Her writing reminds me very much of Sophie Kinsella whom I like very much. Tracy does a good job of character development and her plot-line never makes your mind wander off. The subject matter of this book was hysterical and clever and witty. It's not War and Peace but wow was it a great read!!! The narrator whose name is Julia Barrie was BRILLIANT with her British accent and did an excellent job of not ever having you realize that she was doing all the voices. She was seamless. Much better than someone trying to sound like a man and screwing it up royally... more. I have already downloaded Tracy's other books. I will rotate her in between my dark and suspenseful reads. Well done, Tracy and Julia!!! Keep up the good work and this wonderful partnership for those of us who depend on audiobooks to get through our days.
review 2: Quick and fun read, that really got some giggles out of me. This is a fun story about a woman who decides to take revenge on the men of past failed relationships, and incite other women to take revenge on their current failings too (through her advice column). The different ideas 'Suzie' has to get back on each man, and the answers to her column 'Dear Suzie', are absolutely genius... I couldn't have thought of even half of what the author did, they are absolutely cooky but ingenious revenge plots! I had a lot of fun with this book, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a quickie but funny :)Oh, the ending is *very* romantic comedy. Be warned :D less
