review 1: I liked this one well enough. It was a fun, clean, simple, and easy read. The narration was good however I feel it was the wrong voice for this particular story. The voice sounds like it should be for someone much older than the main character of this book. The setting was Shipshewana, Indiana. I've been there several times and I enjoy it immensely. I think that made me enjoy the story a little more.
review 2: Nice mix of sweet Amish story with a good mystery. When Callie moves to Shipshewana to take care of her Aunt's quilt shop after the death of her Aunt, she becomes a suspect in the death of the local newspaper editor. With the help of her Amish friend Deborah they slowly put the pieces together to help solve the murder. Callie is also grieving over the dea... moreth of her husband and finds healing in the friendships she forms. Plan to read the next in the series. less
