review 1: A novella introducing a new series by the author. Esther and Joseph have a growing relationship that falls apart when Joseph leaves town abruptly. Esther is angry and hurt but moves on with her life and relationships. Joseph suddenly returns to reinstate the relationship, but Esther isn't as forgiving and struggles to find forgiveness and try to understand what Joseph is presenting to her. I enjoyed this very short prequel to the series, Home To Pebble Creek.
