review 1: Pinkalicious is at it again! She is playing with her pet unicorn, Goldilicious, throughout the house and has made a mess. Her mother tells her to take her imaginative unicorn outside. Throughout the book, Goldie (which is Goldilicious's nickname) is roller-skating, kite-flying, high-jumping unicorn who will protect Pinkalicious from the evil imagination of her little brother, Peter, who pet-naps the unicorn and holds her hostage in his tree house. What will happen to the magical unicorn? Where will they be at the end of the day playing outside? You will have to read in order to find out!Interest Level: Grades K - 3Reading Level: Grade level Equivalent: 3.2Lexile Measure®: 640LDRA: Not AvailableGuided Reading: N
review 2: This one is about Pinkalicious owning a
... more unicorn....only, this unicorn seems to be her imaginary friend, who no one else can see. Maybe, that's why this one doesn't really do it for me. I can't see what they're talking about in my head. It doesn't bother me on the audiobooks of the "Pinkalicious" series that correspond with ones I have already read, since I can see the visuals in my head. That aside, the voices are wonderful, and the siblings interact really well.------------------- I checked this audiobook out from the Decatur Public Library, via CamelliaNet. Cool story with a ton of imagination. It is geared more towards girls but can still be fun for boys!

Madelyn liked this one - but it definitely was not as good as the original Pinkalicious

Again, do not understand the appeal of these, but my daughter lives them.
