review 1: I enjoyed this one, but I just find sometimes the characters will do something and it seems unnatural, I don't know how else to explain it. Or maybe it's just me?Anyway, this story was great, truly terrifying as well. Don't start reading it before you go to bed because 11pm will become 5am and you still won't be able to sleep because you JUST have to know that it will all turn out ok... and then you'll start the next book and then you'll have to finish that one too.
review 2: Heath gets called home by a family emergency and, of course, there's a crazy paranormal curse that he and MJ have to deal with. I didn't love this book, I think it was the weakest in the bunch. I figured out how the demon was going to be dealt with too soon, so slogging through to the reso... morelution seemed like slow going. It was interesting to see Heath's background teased out, though. I like that he feels more like a character now, as opposed to MJ's bland partner. less
