review 1: I was really disappointed with the 3rd installment of the Dixie series. I was able to guess the culprit half way through the book, the clues were obvious and certain scenes that have run through all 3 books I am really getting tired of (ie Trinket and her parents dog and cats). The only reason I read to the end was to see if I had guessed the right killer, which I had. I should've just skipped to the end. Felt this book was very boring. Seriously doubt I will read the 4th book in the series.
review 2: I am a sucker for a good southern novel. One with lots of "ya'lls" and "howdy's" and "bless her heart". The Dixie Diva series delivers all this and more. While this is the third novel in the trilogy, I found it just as entertaining as the first two.
