The Sweet Trilogy
review 1: this was definitely the best book of the 3! The fact that anna and kaiden hae to sneak around to be together is heartbreaking! They were destined to be together yet but because of all the dukes and their duties they aren't allowed! Kaidens transformation from being with loads of girls to being with Anna and being completely in love with her is amazing to read! They have a more realistic relationship! The ending to this was just amazing! When they defeated the dukes and her dad got to go back to heaven! But when anna and kaiden got married and annas mum came down to see her for the first time it was lovely! Such a good book!
review 2: A great ending to the Sweet Trilogy!I liked this book! I was action, friendship, and romance packed!I have to say that Kaiden and
... more Anna's marriage was the best thing to happen in this series!Flashing back to what Jay said in the beginning of the series about the good-girl syndrome, that wasn't the case here. Anna did get Kai to change his ways because he loved her. There were certain lines that made me completely crack up! Particularly when Kai moaned during Thanksgiving dinner because Anna put her hand on his leg then, to recover from the embarrassment, he said "This corn pudding is fantastic!". That was one of my favorite scenes :)Anna became a strong person and that was awesome. I really felt bad for Marna. She was perfect for Jay but she had to die. How on Earth did she get pregnant if she was sterile? That wasn't explained but whatever.I love Ginger. She is SUCH a diva and I laughed every time her snotty side came out.Kope and Zania....totally saw that one coming but I am still glad they got together. The ending was really happy and everyone got their true love, mostly. Except Patti! I was sad about that but then again it wouldn't really be a strong book if no sacrifices were made. I totally expected Marek to actually be on their side. The epilogue was really cute and all the adoption. Kai got a girl and he starts crying! Hilariously cute!So yeah nice and neat ending that I really enjoyed! less

I dutifully trudged through this series waiting for that moment that would just blow me away. I knew it was capable of it, it was soooo close as it was. But in the end I found myself majorly let down. Don't get me wrong, this was a decent read with good writing and interesting characters it just didn't live up to its full potential. Or rather the potential I felt it had. I think my biggest disappointment was in Anna, I really feel like she never came up with a plan of action to go against the Dukes. All of her ideas were from others or were just events of fate. And she just accepted it all! She drank and partied to fool the Dukes for 2.5 books and the only time she really stood up for something for herself was in her love for Kaiden (and even that was touch and go for awhile).Like I said this really wasn't a bad book even with the Anna disappointment, if I really couldn't stand it I wouldn't have read all three!

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. The plot progressed to a singular point which I wasn't exactly expecting. The characters are interesting, if not a bit predictable. However, it proves to be a great way to pass the time mindlessly. There are no integral revelations or mind blowing plot twists, but the story and those involved are well written and thought out. The story reaches its crescendo with satisfying crash and settles down to a happy ending for our heroine
