I read and enjoyed Crossing the Wire by the same author.This time we have the story of Nick Thrasher, a proud half -Inuit teen who decides to take a photographic journey with his older half brother Ryan for National Geographic. The writing is simplistic and boring and I think young readers would be numb by the end of the book. The auth... moreor's viewpoint on the devastating effects of climate change, while certainly valuable and undoubtedly true, are hammered into the reader again and again. While this is billed as an exciting survival tale, I feel Hobbs has taken all the excitement out if it. less
