review 1: Picked this up in Union Station, DC before a return to Tampa and found it an interesting way to pass the time. Since I am not going to facing tricky interview questions anytime soon, I thought it would be fun to tackle them as a puzzle and review the mental processes necessary to solve same. Some are nonsensical - How would you weigh your head?, but some are based in solid analytical and mathematical principals. And some are just fun to try to remember such as getting the lions and men across the river. But an entertaining way to pass some time.
review 2: The kind of book that you cannot read without having pen and paper at close proximity. The book is filled with puzzles and brainteasers; the kind that apparently more companies now (in the US) like to ask to c... moreandidates during job interviews. You don't need to want to work at Google to enjoy brainstorming the solutions to the questions, though. The book also gives a little insight into why companies are asking these questions and what is expected from the interviewees. This might not be of big interest to some of us, but really most of the book is about the brainteasers and puzzles.Definitely a good companion for passing time. less
