review 1: I loved this and managed to finish it in 2 short days. The artwork is beautiful. I especially like the hands; they are drawn frequently to convey sign language. I wanted more from the ending so I'm slightly disappointed by that. However, this time they plan to overcome their demons together; tying up the loose end questioned in this one-shot. Perhaps leaving room for a sequel? In the meantime: counting down the days till the anime is born!
review 2: I was bullied in middle school because I was the girl who didn't fit in. I have a skin condition called vidiligo and I was into Pokemon. The other girls made fun of me and the boys drew all over my textbooks, threw my notes away and yanked on my hair and I was always left out...so I can relate to poor Nishimiya. Th
... moreis was really hard to read because it was so vivid and heartbreaking to see a girl who cannot hear or speak for herself. We see through the eyes of the bully, and how he comes to sorely regret what he did, and tries to make amends for all of the pain he caused her after he himself is bullied. I felt for the characters and it was hard to see the cruelty we humans are capable of. The bully himself went through a lot and when he tries to make up for what he did, you truly feel many conflicting emotions.A very painfully beautiful look into bullying and trying to amend what you have done. Highly recommend. less

This one-shot was good, but I am really glad it turned into a serial.
