review 1: 5/5Carnage U.S.A is even superior to its predecessor. Even if the story was utter shit, it would be worth it for the art courtesy of clayton crain. But it isn't shit, in fact its fun, witty, and self aware. I mean, seriously the bit with Hawkeye sharing his true opinion of the Thing had me in tears. It's pretty dark, especially for a story where the main character is Spider-man, but, hey, I like dark stories from time to time. It would really appeal to a fan of horror comics, who have a general fondness for Spider-man and the other marvel characters, but who don't necessarily need to be huge fans of "tights books". Since I love both horror comics and "tights books", I obviously loved this. Fans of the movies Aliens, or Blade II, would also, most-likely enjoy this due to it... mores "band of tough guys takin' out monsters with big weapons" story line. It definitely not a deep story, but it is thoroughly entertaining and never dull.If you are still not convinced to give this a read, I have one word:***minor SPOILER***(Carnage-giraffe)
review 2: Well as some of you know, first Saturday in May is free comic book day. So I decided to review two of the best from 2012 so far. This one is dark, beautifully drawn and feature's one of spider-man's greatest villains; Carnage. Oh and did I mention it's only 5 issues long? Really easy to catch up on if you're not an avid reader. Anyways Happy Free Comic day and I hope you give Carnage U.S.A. a shot. less

If it wasn't for Clayton Crain's superb artwork, I would have given this one star.
