review 1: This book made me cry, made me happy made me squirm with all the copulation that's happening. Damn! Their libidos are just... mygod. Anyways, what made me break down in tears was when Rory finally gave in to Shannon's demands. ShanOlai (yeah I gave em a name because I dont know, I felt like it) wasnt really 'emphasized' in this book. The other characrers overshadowed their affair. If Zena added a little more chapters, it would be balanced. Mmmmm Rory is one sexy wolf. Kinda bugged me that the next book wont be focused on them but meeehh, wouldnt want to miss out on the important details. So far so good :) Loving the series! Big thumbs up to Zena!
review 2: Absolutely hated this. It was full of scheming, manipulation, and for lack of better phrasing, sexual ... moreassault. The lead female of the story is chased and attacked, which was lead by her brother, trying to force her to mate with someone of his choosing. Then when things don't go his way, he forces her to run for her life, but leading her to another pack. Injured, she is rescued by another supernatural who takes over mind and forces her into a sleep trance, stalks her, changes her blood, has sex with her while she is not in her right mind, then mates her without her knowing.I wish I could give this a negative star. less
